TELEHEALTH

Telehealth involves a consultation with a healthcare provider by video or telephone call. As part of the COVID response of the Australian Government, Telehealth is now available to all patients attending appointments with a consultant physician. This is also a popular option for our regional patients. Our specialists at Eastern Rheumatology are able to conduct telehealth consultations with patients.

A video link will be provided to you prior to the appointment, and at your scheduled appointment time, click on the link and wait in the virtual waiting room until you are called.

Rebates for phone consultations are scheduled to be discontinued by 30th June 2022.
